Zach Rap.

I straight up died when I found this on my facebook wall.
Zach never fails at keeping me entertained and loved.
What mad rap skills, this kid has!!

Facebook Loves.

I think every Christian wants to hear something like this
at least once in their life.  So inspiring so have someone say
this to you.  Especially when you've known them your whole
life.  I love this kid, he's done so much for my faith :)

hahaha, what Will doesn't know is that the night he saw me
laying on the ground in the middle of a trail in the woods,
I actually had pulled my back out and Nate and MB
couldn't get me back to the dorm room, so I just laid there
and told people who were passing that we were looking at the stars.

But regardless, I still love the little things in life :)
and love Will for noticing that!

Last Minute Roadtrip.

The phone call went something like this:
Corbin: Hey! I know it's early, but what are you doing this afternoon?
Me: Nothing, why?
Corbin: We're going to Sanford to see Nate and Zach, when can I pick you up?
Me: SERIOUSLY!?!?! 12:30 at the elementary school, I'm pumped!!

So off Alex, Corbin, and I went,
on our last minute roadtrip to Sanford to see our best friends.
Even though Nate and Zach are truly the most entertaining things
in that town, it was still worth the trip :)

HAHAHAHAHAHA
they have a place called the Nunnery,
can't be that bad of the town?

Nate warned me that when we came to visit him,
he would be inside a pyramid at work.
And he literally was inside a plywood pyramid
for his hometown Church's VBS.
(he also took the the time to paint communist hieroglyphics
on the inside. Only my best friend would do that.)

And Alex gladly modeled Nate's great creation!

After our fabulous lunch at Zach's restaurant
and off for adventures in rain with ice cream. :D

The look of happiness, what a fabulous day
with my favorite boys!!

We concluded the adventure with a side trip to historic Pittsboro
and pulling out my accordion when we got home.
How typically, us.

What summer adventures have you
 been on, my lovely readers?

Wait, what?

my brother is going to high school?
my 6'5'', 14 shoe size, 15 year old,
not-so-little, little brother
is going to high school.
When did this happen?
Holy Moses, I feel so old.

He's already made the Honors Symphonic Wind Ensemble
at the high school and is playing basketball
with the varsity basketball team over the summer.
So proud of this kid!

looking spiffy with the parentals before his 8th grade social :)

receiving one of the many academic awards,
I enjoy the fact he has to bend over to receive it haha

Patrick with his basketball team!
Me being his biggest fan,
Nate being the most injured fan,
that being my fault.

at the eighth grade graduation!
how time flies!

Patrick, I'm so proud of you!
I'll always be your biggest fan,
and you know that you can do anything
that you set your mind to!
I'll always be here for you little brother!!
Love you Puc!!

Happy Days.

you happy, makes me happy!"

Looking through old photos and
going through amazing memories,
I've come to this conclusion:
Quirky and sweet, my best friend is
the greatest boy on the planet.

So friends, tell me,
what makes you happy?

Happy Almost Weekend :)
xoxo
