Really.

More elaboration will come with this but for now let me just say this, friends:

Two insanely emotional people should never rely on each other for comfort.
One person who is willing to give, and one person who is willing to take, should not try to have a friendship, it ends in hurt.
A Baptist and a Catholic should not try to date unless they are 100% on the same page with God, and God alone.
Boys are idiots.
But I, and all you ladies out there, have a guy who is willing to hold you until the wee hours of the morning, wipe every single tear away without question, and not be ashamed to call you His or Him yours. I'm okay with having God, Nate, Katie, and a few select friends being the only people in my life right now.
But I'm still angry, very, very angry.
Clearly, we're going to have to work on that...

Double Reeds and Pirates

GLORIOUS DAY!
Yes, my friends, he's finally done it,
Nate's joined the dark side!
He has officially become a secondary on oboe,
he's a double reeder.
I feel as though this involves a parade or something.
Two double reeds in the family now,
Double Reed Day at UNCG won't know what hit them!

In other news, look who's in town.
Corbin has come to visit me alas!
I've missed this ECU Pirate even though
I have his twin here with me at UNCG.
It's not the same without both of them.
Reunited and it feels so good!

Musical Mania

I don't really know what's gotten into me lately but I've had a recent surge of musical obsession. I mean I've always loved musicals, but this is getting a little out of hand. Wicked, Phantom, and Les Mis, have been playing in my room nonstop the past week. Not to mention I've watched the 25th Anniversary London Concert of Les Mis 3 times on PBS in the past 5 days. I'm not sure what's going on, maybe I just wish I could walk around singing and dancing throughout my everyday life. Regardless, here's a little peek at the song that has been playing in my head and over my itunes all afternoon.

Weekend Wonders

What do you do with yourself on a weekend in which
there is hardly any homework to do?

You go cosmic bowling late at night...

and successfully pull off stunts like this
without anyone having to go to the hospital.
(yeah, I'm that good!)

You straightened your friend's extremely curly hair,
and do a rather good job at it too.

You take extremely awkward pictures,
extremely late at night.

You thumbs up and laugh at everything because
you're past the point of exhaustion by 3 in the morning.
And then you walk to Walgreens in the freezing cold.

Then you go see Nate perform at First Presbyterian,
and take in the glory and beauty of God
at one of the most gorgeous churches
of Greensboro, on a sunny Sunday.
I'm so glad our Symphony and Chorale insist on performing
in such beautiful locations.

It's getting warmer my loves!
What's on your weekend to-do list?

xoxo
